Prince’s Creative Genius: Sampling Batman for Batdance (1989)

Summary

Prince creatively sampled at least 25 different audio elements from Batman (Keaton et al) for his massive hit, Batdance. To demonstrate visually, I found and spliced all the movie samples I could identify back into the music video.

Thus, my analysis and commentary: further evidence for why Prince is—and was—a genius. ♂♀🕊
